‘The Stripper’

The film, based on the play A Loss of Roses by William Inge, starred Joanne Woodward, Richard Beymer and Claire Trevor, but the movie was first intended for Marilyn Monroe and Pat Boone, both Fox contract stars. Boone turned down the movie on moral grounds, while Monroe ultimately didn’t make the film either.

‘Magic Mike’
