Jennifer Lopez arrived at the 2000 Grammys in this sheer Versace gown. With its see-through fabric and plunging neckline (can we even call it a neckline?), Lopez stunned viewers and fans. At the Academy Awards a few weeks later, South Park co-creator Trey Parker wore an imitation of the dress.
Toni Braxton
At the 2001 Grammys, Toni Braxton showed up in what was left of this revealing Richard Tyler gown. "I've always gone a little risque with all my other awards [show outfits]," she told People. "I decided that before I got married and had babies, I'd wear this." Braxton picked up her award for best female R&B vocal performance that night.

In 2007, Rihanna showed off almost her whole back, and a little of her front, in this green Roberto Cavalli dress. This was the pop star's first Grammys. While it does show a lot of skin, this dress would potentially be able to pass the cut at this year's stricter awards show.

Reality star Kim Kardashian shows off her curves in this gold Kaufman Franco gown at the 2011 Grammys. Kardashian later told Ryan Seacrest: "I took it to another tailor, and they tailored it to where my whole butt wouldn't fit in it. I was freaking out and said that if I didn't have a dress, I wouldn't go. The designers were amazing and they came in and met me and re-did the whole thing."
Lea Michele
Lea Michele came to the 2011 Grammys showing some skin. The Glee star broke out of her innocent Rachel character in this black Emilio Pucci dress.
Paris Hilton
The Versace dress that heiress Paris Hilton wore in 2009 looked closer to a shirt than a dress. The bright colors and seemingly missing length put Hilton on many worst-dressed lists for that year's Grammys.
