Chris Evans and Ana de Armas are solidifying themselves as a dynamic duo in Hollywood with the release of their third film together, Ghosted. While attending the premiere in New York City on Tuesday, both Evans and de Armas spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about their onscreen chemistry. “Some people, you just get along with,” Evans said about de Armas, whom he previously worked with in 2019’s Knives Out and 2022’s The Gray Man.

Curse of the Undead Star Was 87 The Hollywood Reporter

Kathleen Crowley, the actress who starred in the 1950s low-budget horror films Target Earth, Curse of the Undead and The Flame Barrier and was a frequent guest performer on television, has died. She was 87. Crowley died Sunday at her home in Green Bank, N.J., her family announced. During the first season of ABC’s Batman, the attractive Crowley portrayed the naive socialite Sophia Starr, who falls for The Penguin (Burgess Meredith) after the waddling master of foul play goes straight (or so it seems) and sets up his own detective agency.

Disney, Charter Spectrum Cut New Carriage Deal, Ending Blackout

Disney and Spectrum have a deal, just in time for Monday Night Football. The cable TV giant Charter Communications, which operates the Spectrum cable service, has cut a new carriage deal with The Walt Disney Co., meaning that ESPN, the local ABC stations, FX and Disney Channel will once again be available to its pay TV subscribers, the companies said Monday morning. “Our collective goal has always been to build an innovative model for the future,” said Disney CEO Bob Iger and Charter CEO Chris Winfrey in a joint statement.

Elizabeth Banks Says Charlies Angels Was Marketed as Just for Girls The Hollywood Repor

Elizabeth Banks is weighing in on why she feels the marketing for her 2019 film Charlie’s Angels didn’t quite work. During an interview with The New York Times that published online Tuesday, Banks — who wrote, directed and co-starred in the movie — said she felt her project was misrepresented. The Sony Pictures film starred Kristen Stewart and was a reboot of the property that launched as a TV series in the 1970s before spawning a 2000 film and subsequent sequel.

Fox News Settles Julie Roginsky Lawsuit

Fox News has wrapped up another settlement on the sexual harassment front. The cable news network has resolved claims by Julie Roginsky, who alleged in a lawsuit that she was denied a position co-hosting the mid-afternoon show The Five after refusing to have a sexual relationship with Roger Ailes. Roginsky is a political consultant who was a regular on Fox News beginning in 2005. She says her contract was renewed three times.

Hollywood Power Firms Goodman, Schenkman and Stone, Genow to Merge The Hollywood Reporter

Two of Hollywood’s top talent boutiques on Wednesday announced a merger — Goodman, Schenkman and Stone, Genow are expected to finalize their deal by the end of the month. The merged law firm, which will be dubbed Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher, represents A-list actors, directors and producers including Daniel Craig, Quentin Tarantino, Anthony Hopkins and Jason Blum.  “We are excited about this unique strategic opportunity to grow and unite our very complementary practices in film and television among a group of people we like and admire,” Carlos Goodman and Rick Genow said in a joint statement.
