Miley Cyrus' Nipple on MTV VMAs

Miley Cyrus gave audiences more of a show than even she might have expected during the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night.

The singer sported a variation of revealing costumes while hosting the two-hour show, including high skirts, plunging necklines and figure-fitting fabrics, but none of them compared to the reveal that came during a costume change.

During the 32nd annual awards at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater, MTV accidentally flashed Cyrus’ nipple while she was behind a black curtain switching costumes. Though the flash was less than a second, it was enough time for audiences to see a private fraction of Cyrus’ birthday suit.

The show had featured performances from Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Tori Kelly, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Pharrell, Nicki Minaj and Twenty One Pilots With A$AP Rocky.

The Parent Television Council did not immediately respond to The Hollywood Reporter‘s request for comment.
